Canada special - my first time in canada

I was glad to be with you at Folkfest 2001,2002 and 2003

 Thank you very much !

It was summer in Canada and just like at home, some 
referred to the incredible heat as: "Eine Affenhitze"
How very nice to hear one’s native language so far away.

Yes, that surprised Bernhardt and son Markus.

Amazed, astonished, trying to grasp it all; those were 
moments that I am reliving again to comprehend it, here 
at home in Wolfen, in the province of Sachsen-Anhalt.

So I look back into history to make some comparisons 
and come away with a realization for myself:

We will pass on, but the magic of the future will bring 
new heroes and legends.

New, in todays reality is: Obligations, rights and 
responsibilities. That will give our world a future.
